The Sankofa Wiki

is a growing collection of genealogical and historical data pertaining to antebellum plantations, farms, factories, manors, etc. that used African slave labor. Here, the slave genealogy research community can bring pieces of information together into a fully searchable collection of web pages to further advance African slave ancestored genealogy. Any visitor may append a comment to any page. Registered users may create and edit Slavery Data pages.

Welcome to the new Sankofa Wiki. Slave workplace data is still being transferred from the old pages to the Wiki. This process may take a couple of weeks.
